Watch out: button-sensitivity is NOT supported. An important feature when playing i.e. PES5. Buy the (newer) SmartJoy Dual Plus instead.

Good buy. I use this all the It is not compatible with all dance pads, but with alot. The dance pads I own are 2 TX1000 and work great. check Stepmania.com to see if your dance pad is compatible.time with my 2 medal dance pads, and it works great. . . AND YOU HAVE TO PRESS START+SELECT+UP TO GET IT TO WORK Alot of people keep forgetting that, and do not use the item after

This product is so sweet....I have bought adaptors before but none like this...this is one of the few adaptors that will actually work perfectly with my metal DDR pad....you guys are the best!

I used to dread having to play many action games on the computer, because I had to deal with either a game controller that I didn't feel comfortable with, or I had to use the obtuse and bothersome keyboard. I am now happy to say that I can use my trusty Playstation controller on some of my favorite computer games. The driver disc that is included even supports the controllers vibration mode. I wish I would have purchased this long before I went out to buy those computer styled joysticks. There is nothing like the feel of a good gaming consoles joystick to get you through some of the more difficult parts that games have to offer. I also found out that the dance mat that I also purchased from Consolesandgadgets worked immediately with this link. I can now play DDR on my computer using the dance mat and the Smart Joy Plus USB converter.

Bought two of them and tested them on Linux 2.4.23 and 2.6.3 with a standard PS2 Dualshock 2 and a Dual Jolt controller. Just plugged them in and they were ready to go. All features worked except the force feedback but as far as I know that's still "work in progress" on Linux and will probably work sooner or later. Great piece of hardware, highly recommended.
