At last the New DSi XL is available.
The DSi XL is now available is more colours wine red, dark brown, blue, red, yellow and green. The DSi XL comes pre-loaded with the DSi Ware software like Dr Kawashima's:
Little Bit of Brain Training: Arts Edition, Dictionary 6 in 1 with Camera
Function and Flip note Studio, as well as the Standard Nintendo DSi Browser.
DSi XL is the 4th generation of Nintendo's DS handheld console and, as you can
see from the image to the left, owners will benefit from playing on the two 4.2
inch screens which are 93% larger than those on a DS Lite and larger than the
PSP. The two screens also have an improved wider viewing angle so your family
and friends will be able to watch you play games easily.
The console comes with a new larger pen-like stylus in addition to the standard
stylus. According to Nintendo, this new stylus has been designed to make
'extended stylus game play more comfortable to allow better control.
The retail price is around the £149 mark.
DSi XL has the same capabilities as the DSi, meaning you'll be able to
download games from the Nintendo DSi online shop, take photos with the in-built
cameras before customising them and sharing them online, and listen to and mess
around with your music files.

The Nintendo DSi Titles are region locked but not the DS DS Lite titles
Nintendo has issued a statement to us to stop the rumours on the internet refrence region locking, on the new Nintendo DSi.
" DSi Games (software that is only compatible with DSi) is region locked, eg: European Nintendo DSi software can only be played on European DSi's " a Nintendo spokes person has told us but you will be able to play all current nintendo DS and DS Lite titles on any Nintendo DSi console.

Nintendo Wii hits top software sales
Sales and marketing Cammie Dunaway of Nintendo of America's VP of has announced that the Wii has already sold over 50 million units of software since its launch (18 months ago) and that the figure is a new world record.
The previous record, 42 million units sold in 18 months, was from the launch of the PS2 in late 2000.
