The Nintendo DSi Titles are region locked but not the DS DS Lite titles
Nintendo has issued a statement to us to stop the rumours on the internet refrence region locking, on the new Nintendo DSi.
" DSi Games (software that is only compatible with DSi) is region
locked, eg: European Nintendo DSi software can only be played on
European DSi's " a Nintendo spokes person has told us but you will be
able to play all current nintendo DS and DS Lite titles on any Nintendo
DSi console.

Nintendo Wii hits top software sales

and marketing Cammie Dunaway of Nintendo of America's VP of has
announced that the Wii has already sold over 50 million units of
software since its launch (18 months ago) and that the figure is a new
world record.
The previous record, 42 million units sold in 18 months, was from the launch of the PS2 in late 2000.
